NewFront season 2015 has arrived, which means ad buyers in New York City are likely shuttling between star-studded presentations from Yahoo, AOL, YouTube, and many others as those publishers present their best upcoming series for the next 12 months. The IAB (Interactive Advertising Bureau) has good news for the entire industry: online video ad budgets are going up and newfronts are effective.
The IAB released marketing and agency executive survey results that show positive feelings about the future of online video. The survey found 68 percent of respondents expect their online video advertising budgets to increase over the next year.
The IAB also notes that budgets have been increasing strongly for the past two years, as brand advertisers have increased their digital video commitment by 90 percent.
